Skin Treatments Microneedling

How It Works

Our microneedling device glides across the skin — this is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation procedure with no side effects, designed to naturally stimulate the skin beneath the surface.
The depth reached by the microneedling device depends on your needs and specific skin concerns.
For diffuse redness and elastin production, it helps repair, rebuild, and regenerate damaged tissue.
For pigmentation and acne treatment, the epidermis is the target because sebaceous glands (where sebum is produced) and melanocytes (responsible for pigmentation) are located here.
Oxygen and light help eliminate pigmentation or acne-causing bacteria, while promoting cell turnover to prevent future breakouts and pigmentation.
For best results, begin with 4 sessions spaced 2–6 weeks apart. Continued maintenance helps preserve the skin’s renewed glow.
You may also add a 4D mask or LED rejuvenation during microneedling for optimal skin health.

Pre-Treatment Preparation

  • Ensure your skin is healthy through at-home care or supplementary treatments.
  • Do not wax the treatment area for at least two weeks prior to the session.
  • Avoid sunburn in the treatment area for at least two weeks before treatment.

What to Expect During the Treatment

During the procedure, you may feel mild pressure and a pricking sensation as the tip moves across your face.
Each area is treated in small sections. Because of the quick speed of the procedure, any discomfort is temporary and generally tolerable.
Warmth and a slight tingling feeling are normal.

Expected Reactions After Treatment

  • First 24 hours: Moderate to severe redness, mild swelling
  • Days 1–2: Mild itching, tightness, or dryness
  • Days 2–3: Light redness, slight skin peeling
  • Days 4–5: Full recovery

Patients with a history of pustular breakouts may experience purging after treatment. This is normal and can be treated with LED acne therapy once pustules appear.

Post-Treatment Care

  • No exercise, showering, spa, or sauna within the first 24 hours after treatment.
  • Begin using hyaluronic acid, all active ingredients, and SPF immediately after treatment.
  • Start using exfoliating products after 7 days.
  • Avoid untreated water for the first 3 days post-treatment.
  • Cleanse the face with metronidazole and sodium chloride solution.
  • Apply lyophilized powder (freeze-dried serum) to the whole face.
  • Use a soothing mask for 15–20 minutes, then gently wipe it off.
  • Reapply lyophilized powder.

Days 4–7 Post-Treatment

  • Use the two-piece acne home care kit and cooling soothing mask morning and evening.

Day 7 and Onward

  • Enter the hydration and metabolic recovery phase; please visit the clinic for assessment.

Healing Timeline

  • Days 1–3: Optimal recovery phase
  • Days 4–5: Redness fading phase
  • Days 6–7: Regeneration phase — proper repair is essential!

How does Microneedling work?

Laser Clinics use a handheld device with an adjustable needle head. The needle depth (0.25mm – 2.5mm) is tailored to the skin condition being treated. The needles create micro-wounds on the skin’s surface, stimulating the body’s natural healing response. This leads to the regeneration of new skin cells that improve the skin’s texture and appearance.

Initial redness may occur as platelets respond to the micro-injury. A fibrotic response follows, stimulating new collagen and tissue formation.

  • No numbing is required.
  • Normal work activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.

Does it hurt?

The sensation of Microneedling is similar to Microdermabrasion—some discomfort may be felt, but it’s generally tolerable. Our technicians monitor your comfort throughout the procedure.

How does Microneedling compare to other skin rejuvenation methods?

Microneedling is a non-thermal, non-ablative procedure. It’s suitable for all skin tones, minimizing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or fibrotic scarring.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes. Microneedling is performed under strict sterile conditions by qualified therapists. All tools and consumables used are sterile and single-use.

How soon will I see results?

Many clients notice visible improvement after just one treatment, but cumulative sessions may be required for optimal results. The skin’s regeneration process continues for up to 24 months after treatment.

What is the downtime after treatment?

Mild redness may persist for up to 2 days, especially for sensitive skin types. Mineral makeup may be applied after 24 hours to reduce redness. Most clients can return to regular activities right after the session.

What conditions can Microneedling treat?

Microneedling is effective for:

  • Aging and wrinkles
  • Sun damage
  • Hyperpigmentation & hypopigmentation
  • Rosacea
  • Acne and problematic skin
  • Dilated pores
  • Milia
  • Keratosis pilaris
  • Scarring and thickened skin

How many treatments will I need?

General skin rejuvenation often requires around 3 treatments. For conditions like scarring or stretch marks, at least 5 sessions may be needed. Treatments are typically spaced 4–8 weeks apart, depending on your specific skin needs.
